...UNDER the direction of another committee, children wrhose parents are not able to pay for such attention as is prescribed by the medical inspector, are taken care of at a free dental, and eye and ear clinic held in buildings furnished by the school board...
...Scarcely a local association but what has added to the comfort, convenience or beauty of its school by purchases of books, playground apparatus, equipment of lunch rooms, gas plates for use of teachers, lumber to box in sand piles, sanitary fountains—or, in several instances where the good will was only surpassed by the volume of energetic activity, a piano has been paid for and presented to the school...
