" I n this book C o m r a d e Thomas d o e s n ' t dwell a s m u c h on t h e cons u m e r a s h e d i d i n A m e r i c a ' s W a y Out b u t h e believes t h a t u n d e r no c i r c u m s t a n c e s should we lose s i g h t of t h e " a p p e a l t o t h a t Imp o r t a n t m i n o r i t y of m e n a n d w o m e n who c a n t r a n s c e n d i m m e d i a te c l a s s or group i n t e r e s t for t he s a k e of freedom, peace and p l e n t y .
